I’m sure a lot of people are like me when it comes to books, you can’t seem to finish that book you’ve flipped through for the past 4 months and that pile of “must read” books in your library (real or electronic) seems to get higher and higher. Not to mention that Amazon WishList just keeps on growing and never ends!
Starting and finishing a book for me is always a challenge of finding the time or keeping motivated through the boring parts. However, if I had this book I wouldn’t have a choice because as soon as I’d turn that first page the clock starts ticking!
Argentinian publisher Eterna Cadencia has published a book written in disappearing ink.
El Libro que No Puede Esperar (The Book That Can’t Wait) comes in a sealed package and as soon as you start to turn its pages, the ink begins to age… and fade. Readers have less than two months to tackle the tome before the text toddles off into the ether.
The book was made with the help of Draftfcb to motivate/force readers to actually sit down, take the time to read works from new authors.
